"My name is Yuppie from Taiwan. Before coming to Shaolin Shuiyu Temple, I practiced Shaolin Kung Fu in Taiwan for about three years. However, practicing just once a week limited my progress. I spent a month here at Shaolin Shuiyu Temple, and with daily practice and guidance from my Shifu and senior disciples, I feel like a month here is equivalent to a year's practice back home—I've improved so much. I'm really grateful to have met Shifu Yankai. He's a highly skilled master, he has deepened my understanding of every Kung fu movements. Meeting him has been a great guide in my life as well. It's not just Shifu Yankai who's been incredibly helpful; the senior disciples here are amazing too. I'm thankful for their detailed and strict teaching, even on cold days. Living in the temple has been a fantastic experience, very different from staying in a martial arts school. Here, you can truly feel the traditional Shaolin master-disciple relationship, and everyone in the temple is like family, always helping each other. There are other masters and lay Buddhists living here, and I've learned a lot from them about Buddhism and meditation. I recommend Shaolin Shuiyu Temple and Shifu Yankai to anyone who wants to learn real Shaolin Kung Fu. It's really an unforgettable experience."

"I'm Marco from Costa Rica, 38 years old. I started getting into martial arts when I was 19. Because I really like martial arts, I decided to do my PhD at Henan University, focusing on traditional martial arts. I came to Shaolin Shuiyu Temple because my professor at university is a good friend with Master Yankai, and he suggested I could learn a lot from him. Master Yankai is known as a great master at Shaolin Temple. This time, I'm here to learn Yi Jin Jing from him. Before this, I've only learned Shaolin Kung Fu and never Yi Jin Jing. I'm so thankful to meet such an amazing master like Yankai. He teaches very well, and I've learned a lot from him, even from the simple moves. I really enjoy living in the temple. It's very peaceful here, not many tourists, so I can practice comfortably. The food is great, and the living conditions are good too, but it's just a bit cold in winter. I plan to come back in summer to learn more! My experience here at Shaolin Shuiyu Temple has been amazing."
